(SimCity comes to mind) In terms of an airport sim, I like to be able to spend the majority of the time designing the airport and facilities based on what a real airport would look like, not trying to learn how the sim works and then capitulating to it. One of the things I always look for in a simulation style game is, how much time is spent, "convincing" the game to do what you want versus designing. ![]() Doesn't that make the Gate object unsecured (even though physically it may be secured behind an external fence)? And then passengers who are arriving are arriving into an unsecured area, so no matter how I route them downstairs or upstairs, they would have to go through security to connect to another flight right? Since you have this implemented in your airport I guess the unsecured nature of that hallway is not disallowed by the game, so maybe I shouldn't worry about it :) Have you noticed how connecting pax path? Maybe i'm missing something obvious with keeping that area "secure"? By using the Security Exit, you are having passengers leave a secured area, enter into a technically unsecured area, and then boarding the plane. Red towards arriving so they cannot walk into the departures lounge Played around with this last night and it just fundamentally feels "wrong" to me. Works perfectly.ĭo note that green faces towards departing passengers so they can board the plane. What is the actual object that you are using between the main terminal area and the corridor?
